Community First Credit Union is repurposing the former Edgewood Bakery property at 1012 Edgewood Ave. S. into a new Murray Hill branch with a food feature from Arble Baking Co.

The Jacksonville Daily Record reported that the branch will keep the project inside the existing building structure, redesign the parking lot for a drive-through amenity, and include space for neighborhood gatherings and meetings.

The same report said the city is reviewing a permit for Auld & White Constructors to create a food feature venue at an estimated project cost of $200,000, with plans showing seating in an outdoor plaza.

The project is a useful test case for First Coast Observer because the story mentions Murray Hill and Edgewood in the body and is tagged to both neighborhood pages.
